HTML snippet setup (any website)

If your platform can add a script tag, it can send texts. One snippet, before the closing body tag.

1. Paste the snippet

From your license page, copy your snippet:

<script async src="https://easytextnotifications.com/js/etn.js"
        data-key="ETN-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX"></script>

Where to paste it: Squarespace Settings → Advanced → Code Injection → Footer; Wix Settings → Custom Code → Body-End; Shopify theme.liquid before </body>; anything else — before </body>.

2. Mark the forms that should text you

The snippet watches your existing forms. Flag one by adding an attribute:

<form data-etn="lead"> ... </form>

Built-in event names: lead (form submitted → alert your staff), booking (reminder to the customer), order (confirmation to the customer). Configure who gets what in your account.

3. Go live

Same as WordPress: complete the one business form, we file your registration, and sending activates automatically when your number clears — usually 1–3 business days.

Common questions

Does the snippet slow my site down?

It loads async and does nothing until a flagged form submits. It does not touch rendering.

Customer texts come from what number?

Your dedicated local number — the same one on every plan. Replies to it are forwarded to your email.
